*3RD TERM 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION*

APPRECIATION:

We appreciate you our dear parents and guardians, for your support and patronage inspite of the
economic instability in the country.

We are not taking it for granted; as we promise to continue to improve upon our usual deliverables in
terms of academic and extra curricular activities.

SITUATION REPORT:

*ACADEMICS* :

We commenced this session on the 13th day of September 2021, with a blended teaching program. By
organizing Mathematics clinic for all our Secondary students and introduced same for the Primary
classes from primary 3-6 within the hour of 7am - 8am.

*Economic situation impact* : In view of the economic situation in the country, we wish to serve notice
that some of our services will be affecting.

Understandably, with fuel fluctuating between 175-200 per litre , we are adding a token of 2,000 to our
transport services on all routes.

Food prices are even more affected and a token of 5,000 is added to the current rates.

*Skill Acquisition*

In other to tap into the psychomotor ability of the children, we also introduced skill acquisition sessions.
This we intend to sustain.

* We also introduced regular music class to serve as extra curriculum to positively engage the minds of
the children.

*Conduct Form*

At the beginning of the term and in compliance with government directive, parents and children were
made to sign government designed conduct undertaking.
To further domesticate this measure, each class teacher is to henceforth maintain a *Report Notebook*
to record instances of misdemeanor by any of the children for disciplinary action as appropriate. Same
shall be recorded in the communication book to carry parents along.

We urge parents to regularly admonish these children as they are susceptible to peer pressure
influence.

*BECE* :

The Basic Education Certificate Examination, *BECE* , for our intending SS1 Students was held between
Wednesday 15th June to 22nd of June 2022, and was organized by the Ogun State Government.

*SCHOOL UPGRADING*

The school is in the process of upgrading the Secondary School to effectively allow our pupils to be
writing their external examinations such as WAEC and NECO within the school. We are pursuing it such
that our next SS 3 set will sit for the examinations in the school.

Another level of upgrading in the school is the ongoing general physical renovation of the school.

*Certificates*

We have for collection, WAEC certificates from 2018 to 2021.

Also we have BECE and First school leaving certificates for collection.

*We are happy to inform that our first SS 3 student, Charles Deborah, is currently at 300Level in the
university.

*ACADEMIC* *STAFF* :

We have continued to strengthen our academic staff members to not only ensure quality and effective
teaching and learning process but to improve on it.

Also; during the Session, we were able to infuse some National Youth Service Corps Members, for the
improvement of our school curriculum, moving forward.

*BOARDING* *FACILITIES* :

Our boarding facilities have been remarkably improved upon.


To assist our students; we have engaged the services of a House Mistress, and a House Master. With a
Cook; to attend to the daily needs of the children.

*COUNSELING* *SERVICES* :

*FADMAESTRO* School now has a trained psychologist who has been engaging in group and individual
guidance and counselling sessions with the children.

This is aimed at offering the pupils and students the needed support to make learning an interesting task
and tackle their known emotional challenges.

*Scholarship*

Fad Maestro as a matter of policy has continued to live up to the social service status of a school by
giving partial scholarship to challenged children.

Recall that at last year's End of session program, our *Father of the day*, Dr. Ambrose Olutayo Somide,
Managing Director, Radio Services, Daar Communication PLC, sponsored an SS 3 student including
payment of her WAEC fee. Another one in the primary section benefitted a term's scholarship courtesy,
Penpushing Media.

As he did last year, Dr. Somide will support another indigent SS3 student with school fees plus WAEC
fees in the 2022/2023 academic session. This, he said, will be a continuous thing.

He will also continue to support Chukwuma Precious in furthering her education in any public
university or polytechnic to the best of his ability.

To this kind hearted Nigerian, father and grand father, we are grateful.

*Outstanding Student and Pupil*

As a way of promoting discipline,punctuality , hard work ,good conduct, the school is from this term
introducing Outstanding student and pupil.

Any student so picked by all the teachers will be the face of the school for the term.

Beginning from this term, a picture of our outstanding Student and Pupil shall be displayed strategical in
the school till the end of first term 2022/2023 academic session when a new set will be selected.
*Uniforms*

As a recognized school, we do have inspectors from the ministry of education visiting the school at
unannounced intervals.

We shall be strict henceforth in compliance with wearing appropriate school uniforms.

We want to plead with our parents particularly mothers in this regard. Also skimpy skirts will not be
allowed.

*SUMMER CLINIC*

Our summer clinic for this year will take a new form as the name implies, it entails offering an intensive
clinic on the core subjects, both in primary and secondary levels. It commences on the *9th of August
2022 to 8th of September 2022*

*TUITION* :

Attached is the full breakdown of the bill for the 1st Term of 2022/2023 Session. We wish to plead that
we shall be firm with payment of fees as this is the lubricating oil for the wheels of progress in the
school. Any student/ pupil who does not pay 50 percent of tuition will not be allowed in school from
second week and Hostel students are expected to pay at least 50 percent on resumption.
