The BFP Uniform

The very symbol of UNITY among the firefighters in the service


portrayed in the uniforms that they wear with pride and honor.
The link that establishes our connection and the mark of our
commitments worn closest to our hearts, with propriety and
integrity, the uniform represents our allied forces for a common
cause.
Today, humbled by this opportunity to present to you the
SHOWCASE OF THE BFP uniforms!

GENERAL OFFICE ATTIRE (GOA)


Type A (Commisioned Officers)
The uniform that represents the COMMENDABLE OFFICERS so
to speak, the distinguishing mark is the SHOULDER LOOP, worn
with their award plates and name plates, the badge and other
significant insignias representing their core of competencies, the
BFP LOGO and specific office or municipality/city where they are
assigned with their rank insignias on the sleeves, the Pershing
cap and the dashing officer with a smile and resolute vision for

of the AWARD PLATE worn on top of their names, seen with the
beautiful insignias of their trainings and special courses, indeed

Emergency Medical Service (EMS)


You can see the firefighters during the:

❖ Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team are


the first responders during emergencies,
vehicular accidents and even during fire.
❖ EMTs and paramedics respond to calls for
medical assistance, such as vehicular
accidents in which someone is injured.
❖ Assess people’s condition, provide first-aid or
life support care to sick or injured patients.

Never underestimate the expertise of these men wearing this


uniform, graduates of medical courses bound to save lives!

Bunker gear

This is the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used by


firefighters during fire incidents and conflagrations. The bunker
gear is a combination of a jacket or coat, trousers, gloves, boots,
hood, helmet and a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Its main function is protection from heat and flames.

The most formal type
of evening-wear uniform used by BFP Officers
during anniversaries and
special occasions of the BFP
