From the Principal’s Desk:
I would like to say, Congratulations to our Eagles for
winning and leading the Summer Fest. It was a great
performance from all the players. And, the parents’
participation and support were impeccable.
The School Administration, Faculty and Staff would
like to say – THANK YOU! We rock!
So this year we will continue to have our Eagles
train and have a great time at the gym to prepare
for next year’s Summer Fest. Mr. Kali & Ms. Merrick
will be your next year we will do the same and
continue to soar like Eagles! We can do it again,
when we work together.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
We continue to urge parents to
please remind and encourage your
children to wear their masks inside
school premises and also other
enclosed public spaces. We will
do our share to keep these Eagles
safe and healthy.

National Truth & Reconciliation Day:
In honor of our First Nations brothers and
sisters and in celebration of National Truth &
Reconciliation Day, the Freshmen and
Sophomore of the Commerce Department
conducted Convocation Program last
September 15, 2021 at 3:00PM with their
Keynote Speaker Kim Barthel on the theme,
“Truth: The Way to Reconciliation”. It was
well received by our students from the
Commerce Department. Kudos everybody!
Also don’t forget that IRC will be closed on
September 30, Thursday to honor the event.
Take this time to learn the ways of
reconciliation.
2021 STUDENT LEARNING SURVEY:
The Provincial Learning Survey for Students is
a special and unique way of conducting an
assessment to all learners in the province.
This survey is mainly conducted for all
freshmen and sophomore students from all
departments - (Education Department,
Commerce Department, Arts & Music
Department, English Department, Engineering
Department & the Political Science
Department). The survey aimed to gather
information from parents or guardians on
topics related to well-being, mental health,
safety and attainment. Please click the
e-survey – this will remain open until the end
of Oct. 30, 2021. You can also pick up
hardcopies from the office.

LIBRARY BOOK PROGRAM:

The IRC Library through the initiative of our Librarian,
Ms. Karla Lee and Mrs. Elena Macklin is conducting a
Library Book Program for deserving students who are
not able to afford their course textbooks.
We are requesting students who would like to donate
their old books so other students may benefit and can
put these old books to good use.

Halloween Celebration:
IRC recognized that Halloween is
special but due to Covid, the
Administration of IRC does not
encourage the sharing or handing
out of candies in the school
premises for health safety reasons.
