Rationale
Language is considered as one of the most substantial elements of education and
literacy. Its efficiency and commands come with the mastery in receptive and productive
skills. Conventionally and even today in the shadow of pandemic, productive skills of
language are given significance of which writing is the most preferred outcome expected
from students. This standing is justified in the school where the students are required to
master good writing compositions and the reflection of their creative aspects in school
environment can be seen mostly in the texts they produce.

In partnership with MSU-Maguindanao Campus, this activity will provide to both

students and teachers the opportunity to widen their horizons and increase optimum
potentials in writing skills. It also paves a venue for students to demonstrate or showcase
their creative writing skills by efficiently generating and organizing new ideas that are
surprising yet intelligible and valuable in some ways.

Objectives
Generally, this activity aims to upscale the writing skillsets of both students and
teachers thereby boosting their technical know-how in using the wealth of information at their
fingertips to espouse meaningful and enlightening dialogue that is rooted from their creative
imaginations. Specifically, it aims to:
a. engage students and teachers in different writing workshops to relate new
information with their prior knowledge to make information sense;
b. gives students opportunity to showcase their creativity by manipulating the
language in interesting and demanding ways to express uniquely personal meanings; and
c. enhance their ability in using technology while improving their digital writing
skills.
Expected Outcome
The participants will be able to showcase their talent and skills through activities
provided and acquire learning on the importance of enhancing literacy on digital writing.
Also, participants are expected to develop love for creating big books for young children.
