II. RATIONALE:
The growing need to address the effective implementation of the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) through the various learning delivery modalities inspired
educationalists and other advocates to conduct massive trainings and workshops, which include
research and innovation.
This District Virtual Research Proposal Presentation is very timely because the participants
will be proposing research driven initiatives as well as practices relevant to the implementation
of the distance learning delivery modality in this time of pandemic. These studies are prepared
and aligned respond to the urgency for a productive and equitable education for our clienteles in
the new normal landscape of education. It is geared towards enhancing the skills of our teachers
in understanding the context of basic and action research in relation to the learning modalities
adopted by the schools and in ensuring that education continues amid perplexities and
challenges.
Education is lifelong, thus continuing education program for teachers that includes
research is therefore a necessity.
