I. RATIONALE
Relative to NEAP’s goal of providing continuous quality development programs for teachers and school
leaders as stated in DM-OUHROD No. 37 s. 2024 entitled Guidelines on the Conduct of the In-Service Training
for Teachers (INSET) for School Year 2023-2024 dated January 11, 2024,the school – based In Service Training
of Panganiban National High School, CAIC Compound was planned consistent with the procedures of the School
Based Management (SBM), and the School improvement Plan (SIP) and shall focus on the teacher’s learning
and development needs as reflected in its training title. It is a venue for continuous and effective in-service
training for teachers’ development.
This INSET will provide an opportunity for teachers to sit together, review on some specific instructional
concerns and discuss on topics that can solve everyday problems in the classroom. This will also serve to
support the teachers for some innovative practices that would enhance their skills and competencies. Teachers
will be equipped with the necessary teaching strategies and techniques in developing the children literacy and
numeracy skills and attitude.
This In-service Training is hoped to be one of the most promising avenues to improve teacher’s
performance and to address and resolve training needs to continuously upgrade their instructional performance.
II. OBJECTIVES
A. Enabling Objectives:
The conduct of the MIDYEAR INSET aims to:
1. Evaluate school’s progress in implementing the educational programs, projects and activities;
2. Review performance of teachers and staff to address concerns and provide additional inputs
relative thereto;
3. Enhance the capacity of all personnel in managing and conducting school inventory of resources;
4. Inform teachers and employees on the following policies and priority programs:
a. Microsoft 365 Productivity Online Training through DepEd Philippines
b. Catch-Up Fridays
c. Deped Order No. 31 s. 2022
d. Deped Order No. 40 s. 2012
e. Safe Spaces Act (RA No. 11313)
B. Terminal Objectives:
At the end of the MIDYEAR INSET, the participants should be able to:
1. Submit accomplished Project Monitoring Form as a result of the evaluation of the educational
programs, projects and activities implemented;
2. Submit Mid-year Review Form as basis for the conduct of Midyear Performance Evaluation of
teachers and staff;
3. Create individual LRMIS account and action plan on the implementation and utilization of Learning
Resource Management;
4. Craft School Action Plan for the Conduct of Activities relative to the policies and priority programs
as discussed.
