Associations Board of Directors since 2001, representing District 11
(Georgia), Past President of the South Florida Citadel Club, Past
President of the Greater Atlanta Citadel Club, Past Vice President of the
Greater Atlanta Citadel Club, Past Treasurer of the Greater Atlanta
Citadel Club, Past Member of The Citadel History Council, Past Editor
of the Pop Off, the (past) monthly newsletter of the Greater Atlanta
Citadel Club, and designated Major Donor to The Citadel Foundation
(Star of the West Society). Was on the Campaign Board that raised over
$2.6 million for The Citadel Foundation from the Class of 1970 for our
40th reunion. I have established two scholarships at The Citadel. Was
selected by the CAA Awards Committee as the District Director of the
Year, in 2012.

Occupation: President, The Brun Company (Commercial Real Estate Management,


Brokerage and Investments) since 1990.

Military Service: U. S. Army, Active Duty 1970 1973

Awards and Honors: Life Member of the National Registry of Whos Who (2001 Edition).
Was selected by the CAA Awards Committee as the District Director of
the Year, 2012.

Personal: Married to my soul mate (and business partner) Jacqueline Gandy Lane
for 35 years.

Candidates Statement: It is important that The Citadel remain the MILITARY College
of South Carolina. Yet the Administration is handing out too many
CITADEL diplomas to non cadets, who (mostly) are not subject to the
Honor Code, nor any military standards of physical fitness, personal
appearance, etc. This practice weakens the meaning of those two very
powerful words, THE CITADEL. I understand the revenue issues that
The Citadel needs, but if you re-elect me as your District Representative, I
will push the Administration to seek other alternatives, other than cheaply
selling The Citadels name for a mere 30 Shekels of silver.
