Urine output

Normal urine output is 1 ml/kg/hr and minimum urine output is at least 0.5 ml/kg/hr.

Normal = 1500ml in 24hrs

Oliguria = <500ml in 25hr

Anuria = < 200ml in 24hrs

If urine output remains low for two consecutive hours, despite fluid
resuscitation, senior help should be sought.
