OBJECTIVE: By the end of this group, participants will learn how to fill out college and job applications, as well as learn about different occupations. HRS: 1 Hour MATERIALS: Activity sheets, college applications, job applications, pens and pencils.

developing and planning career goals. They will also be able to gather INTRODUCTION information about colleges, trades schools, 5 MINS and occupations.
Future Plans Have each person
complete the following sentence: When I grow up, I want to work at/as ICEBREAKER ______________________________ 15 MINS because _________________________. Then discuss what the student needs in order to make their plan a reality. Applications Youth will gain experience filling out job and college applications. Gaining Work Experience Youth will ACTIVITY read a section of the Making It Book and 35 MINS fill out the activity sheets associated with career planning.
