How I View the World?

This activity will clarify how YOU view the world.

You will illustrate your understanding within giant eyeglasses.

Step 1: Your job is to answer the following eight questions. Remember, this is about you. It should reflect
your uniqueness. Take time to reflect on your answers.

1. What is your favorite invention/discovery/ piece of artwork?

2. What is your favorite sport or activity that you participate in?

3. What would you change in the world if you could?

4. What is your familys historic background/culture/heritage?

5. What do you want to be when you grow up?

6. What do you highly value within your life?

7. Who is your role model?

8. How best do you learn/represent your learning?

Step 2: Using the answers from the questions above illustrate them in the specific quadrants on your
eyeglasses. For example, if you answered electricity in question one then you would draw a light bulb or a
lit room in your eye glasses. There will be no text in your drawings so be sure it accurately and clearly
illustrates your answers.

Examples:

1. -electricity, penicillin, motor vehicle, telescope, The Last Supper -da Vinci, Mona Lisa-da Vinci . . .

4. -represent your culture with a flag, religious symbol, language . . .

5. -doctor without borders, teacher, owner of a cycle shop, tattoo artists . . .

6. -things will value might include family, religion, education, kindness,the environment, technology,
honesty . . .

7. -think out of the box for role models grandparents, historical figure, world leader, everyday service
provider, teacher . . .

8. -kinesthetic (hands-on), hearing, speaking, drawing, reading . . .

Step 3: Frame of Eyeglasses

- decorate frame using creativity. Your full name must be included (first and last).

BE CREATIVE CHOOSE YOUR ANSWERS CAREFULLY AND VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS.
