7. The test paper was certainly difficult as many pupils were not able to complete it within

the given time.

Seen Dictation

We waited patiently at the dining table. Mum had specially cooked something special for my
birthday. The food seemed to have gone cold but Dad was still not home. Just then, Dad
called to say that he was held up and was not able to collect my birthday cake. He told us to
proceed without him. I was extremely disappointed. (60 words)
