OBJECTIVES

To study the level of awareness of investors.


To determine the investors perceptions towards mutual funds.
To study the factors considered by the investors and those which ultimately
influence him while investing.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:

Business research is a systematic inquiry that provides information to guide


business decisions and aimed to solve managerial problems. Business research is
of recent origin and is largely supported by business organizations that hope to
achieve competitive advantages.

Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problems. It


may be understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. It
includes the overall research design, the sampling procedure, data collection
method and analysis procedure.

RESEARCH/ PROBLEM STATEMENT

Investors main objective is to earn higher returns keeping in mind the risk and
liquidity factor. With this objective in mind ,an investor is looking out for various
investment avenues.
Mutual funds offer comparatively better returns and have less risk as compared
to direct investment in stock market .
This research makes an attempt to identify various factors affecting perception of
investors regarding investment in mutual funds.
Universe/Population of study : LUCKNOW

SCOPE OF STUDY

The findings will help mutual funds company to identify the areas required
for improvement in order to create greater awareness among investors
regarding investment in mutual funds

Sampling method :The sampling technique used is non probability sampling

Sampling unit : Businessmen, Government servants ,Professionals and


retired individuals

Sample size : 100 respondents

PRIMARY DATA

As the research is exploratory describe and Analytical in nature concerning


investors related to the Mutual Funds. Primary data collected by the
Questionnaire and direct interaction with different people.

SECONDARY DATA:To obtain Secondary data I have used following resources-
