Unit 1 Performance Assessment

OVERVIEW
For your Unit 1 Performance Assessment, you will be participating in an interview with a classmate. You
will randomly draw your role: either Interviewer (asking the questions) or Interviewee (answering the
questions). If you are the Interviewer, you will be the person to start the Performance Assessment. You will
be given a list of questions in English to ask. Ask them in the order they are given to you. Interviewees, you
will respond in complete sentences to the questions the Interviewer asks. You will have 1 minute to
complete the task. If you do not know how to phrase any question or answer in the target language, do as
much as you can, completing the task in English. You will have time to prepare for this Performance
Assessment in class, but you are expected to practice for it at home as well.
