Bhandare Wale Aloo Ki Sabzi Recipe I Aloo Sabzi Recipe is a traditional North Indian
recipe usually made during poojas or hawans at the temple or even at home. Here is
an authentic recipe to make this delicious Aloo Sabzi.

Ingredients

Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp


Tomato - 1 cup ( Chopped )
Ginger - 1 inch piece ( Chopped )
Green chilli - 2-3
Hing - tsp
Zeera - 1 tsp
Coarsely ground Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - tsp
Potato - 400 g ( Boiled and peeled )
Salt to taste
Amchoor powder - 1 tsp
Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp ( Chopped )

Instructions

1. Add tomato, ginger and green chilli in a bowl and blend to make a smooth puree.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Once the oil is hot, add hing and zeera and let them crackle for a few seconds.
4. Add tomato ginger green chilli paste and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add coriander powder, fennel powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and garam masala powder and cook
until oil separates from the sides.
6. Break the potatoes using your ngers roughly and add them in the pan.
7. Add 2 cups of water, amchoor powder and salt to taste.
8. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
9. Add more water if required.
10. The gravy is supposed to be thin.
11. Garnish with fresh coriander.
12. Serve hot with poori or Kachori.
