Patrons Day We are excited to celebrate
Patrons Day tomorrow, September 22nd. We
will start our celebration with an All School
Mass at St. Gabriels Church. All are
welcome to attend. Students will be
allowed to wear shorts/athletic wear to Mass.
Following mass, we will be heading to Driftless
Area Education and Visitors Center in
Lansing, Iowa. Sack lunches will be provided
by the school at normal lunch cost or
students may bring a sack lunch from home.
Parents please ensure students are dressed
appropriately for all weather and have tennis
shoes. We are looking forward to a day
filled with outdoor education and fun!

Scrip is an easy fundraiser for the school &
parish. Below is the next installment of what
it is and how to use it.
Where is Scrip sold? Scrip is available
at each rectory office (please see
individual offices for hours), school
office, after each weekend mass and
online. Purchasing online has never
been simpler. Use the Family Sign up at
http://www.shopwithscrip.com/ to
place an order. Create your free
ShopWithScrip account in just a few
easy steps. Use Holy Family Scrip
enrollment code 315114L45414. Shop
at your favorite vendors, add to your
cart and then check out. Payment can
be done via a check to Prairie Catholic
Scrip or use the online convenience of
PrestoPay by setting up an account
using debit from your checking
account. Once a week the orders are
placed via our SCRIP coordinator; your
order will be included in this weekly
order and delivered to our school and
parish later that week.
Brown Envelope Reminder - Each week
many forms are sent home in the brown
envelopes or via email, which are needed
so that students can take part in many
different activities. Without these signed
consent forms it will be impossible for your
son or daughter to participate with his
class or school. Please remember the
Middle School students have two days to
return their envelope. If not returned they
will receive a detention.
Magazine Sale Thank you! We appreciate all
the students who sold, and a huge shout out to
all who purchased. Top Seller was Declan
Campbell who received a $25.00 scrip card of
his choice!

Extra recess will be held on Thursday,
September 28th. Bowling and movie pass are
coming home today in the brown envelope to
all prize winners.
Prairie Catholic Saints Pride - Join us to show
off your Saints pride! On September 27th,
Prairie Catholic will be participating in the
annual Homecoming Parade. We are
asking for families to join us to show our school
pride. This years Homecoming theme is
Hawaiian Homecoming. Please come in your
Hawaiian and/or Saints gear and be ready to
walk in the parade. Hope to see you all there.
We will meet at Wolf Machine Shop at 5:30pm
with the parade beginning at 6:00pm. Sign-up
sheets are coming home today.
Non-Prescription Medication Please review
the policy regarding Non-prescription
medication. If a student may need any OTC
medications throughout the school year, such
as: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums /antacid, cough
medicine, etc. it needs to be provided by a
parent. These medications must be in the
properly labeled container with the students
name on it. The school will not administer any
medication to a student that is not supplied by
the parent/guardian.
Mark your calendar 2nd Annual Saints
and Soles 5K Run/Walk & Kids Run will be
held on Saturday, October 28th. New this
year is a costume contest for participants!
Save the date and come join the fun!
