CAREER OBJECTIVE

A second-year undergraduate student at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Medical Sciences at the
College of Medicine. As a member of this program, Meghna hopes to learn and develop as student leader,
responsible citizen, and future geriatrician through her four years of undergraduate experience at the
University of Cincinnati.
Education
Attending the University of Cincinnati since 2016 and expecting to graduate in 2020
Majoring in Medical Sciences, an undergraduate program centered in the College of Medicine,
and working towards obtaining a certificating in Global Health Studies.
Internship Experience
Friendship Village (Dublin, Ohio) September 2015- April 2016
Assisted patients with reading and other daily activities twice a week.
Provided input in developing activities and events to maintain patient satisfaction.
Helped in cleaning and organizing patient bedrooms.
RISE (Cincinnati, Ohio) July 2015- Present
Nonprofit organization working towards spreading awareness about acid violence.
Worked with a team to spread awareness about acid attacks.
Organized various fundraising events to donate money and medical supplies to acid
attack survivors.

Nutrition services: assisted with organizing food trays while focusing on patient diet/

Stocking supplies in the pantry, helping senior citizens carry their groceries to the
car, and assist clients as they shop for groceries.
