1. Brushwear:Sincetheyneedbrushestoconnecttherotor
winding.Brushwearoccurs,anditincreasesdramatically
inlowpressureenvironmet.Sotheycannotbeusedin
artificialhearts. Ifusedonaircraft,thebrusheswould
needreplacementafteronehourofoperation.
