Presidents Budget Message

I am considering this day a historic day.

As your President of this Republic, I am submitting to Congress today the 2.6 trillion National

Budget for 2018. The National Budget is the final budget of my administration. This one will

oversee the the fruition of what this government started, to reform the state of our economy, to

invest on infrastructure, to put food on the table of every Filipino family, to create more jobs, and

to make education accessible to all.

But more than just funding the countrys requirements for the next year, the 2018 National

Budget look back and beyond. The said budget, in fact, completing the projects, rather than

starting new ones to firm up the gains we have studiously land brick by brick all these years.

So that the next generation can build on what this administration is leaving as it legacy.

Lahat ng problema ay ating sama-samang lagpasan, tungo sa tunay na pagbabago at kaunlaran.

That makes today a historic day indeed.
