Teaching Patterns to Pre-K Students

Pre-Kindergarten students struggle to identify, create, and recreate patterns using manipulatives. After watching an instructional video explaining patterns, students will be able to identify pattern types with 90% accuracy and recreate patterns by continuing them using the same tools. Their pattern knowledge and skills will be assessed through interactive Kahoot questions identifying patterns and a teacher-made worksheet where students physically recreate patterns with manipulatives.
