SUMMER TRAINING PROJECT

As a part of learning process, MBA students (i.e. Batch 2016-18 students) will undergo training,
wherein students will be working in field/company premises for their summer internship. The
project duration is June 2017 to July 2017.

The core idea behind this activity is to accustom students to the real time situation and hands on
experience to undertake Research Project. This will strengthen their ability to connect theory
with the real time situations. Students are supposed to be in regular touch with the allotted
Faculty guide. Detailed instructions shall be provided by the respective Faculty guide.

Student Project Guide: Interaction schedule


a.First phase : 18 Apr 2017 to 29 Apr 2017: (students to take prior appointment from
faculty guides & meet them during lunch time)
i. How to identify Tile of the project
ii. SIP related instructions.
b.Second phase: First/Second week of Jun, 2017.
i. Finalizing the Title of the Project, by student in consultation with
Company Guide & Faculty guide. ( The students are advised to select the
company for Summer Internship carefully as, change of company shall not
be allowed after finalization of Topic)
ii. Finalizing the Objectives of the Project, by student in consultation with
Company Guide & Faculty guide
iii. Literature Review
c.Third phase: Second/Third week of June 2017.
i. The students should submit (through email) to the guide a brief report on
Research Design & Final Questionnaire.
d.Fourth phase: Third/Fourth week of June to Third week of July, 2017.
i. The students should complete the Survey (Primary Data Collection)
ii. Data Analysis (with the help of MS Excel/SPSS) & Interpretation
e.Fifth phase: Fourth week of July
i. Submission of soft copy (in the proper format) of the report to the Faculty
guide through e mail.
f. Presentations on the same will be conducted from First week of August, 2017
(Presentation format will be shared after reporting to the campus)

Any other instructions, as applicable will be shared by the Faculty guides from time to time
