Wacky Wednesday Eating at school

On 25th October, the Middle School
Student council is holding a Wacky
Wednesday. The cost is 500rwf, with
the funds going towards more games
for Middle School students during
break and lunch as well as a charity
of their choice.
Wacky Wednesday is a chance for
students and teachers to come
dressed in funny ways (a teacher
dressed as a student, clothes on
backwards, dressed in pajamas etc).
In order for students to learn, they
need to eat throughout the day.
Please remind your children that this is
important. We have a number of
students who are not choosing to eat
and this is a concern.
If your child is a vegetarian, please can
you inform your childs Homeroom
teacher via email so we can have
enough food prepared for them.
For those that bring their own food, that
is fine. We ask that all students eat in
the Dining Hall.

Sick students
Lately we have had a number of students saying they are
sick, so they can be excused from certain classes such as
swimming. But the students appear to be just fine when
walking around for the rest of the day. If your child is sick,
please have them stay at home so others do not become
sick also. Without a note from parents, this becomes very 5P and 5Q visit the Public
difficult for teachers to believe. Library

Wearing a Hat
At GHA, we are aware of the harmful rays the sun has and
the harm it can cause on our unprotected skin. Currently
our G7 RoundSquare students are working on designing a
sun smart hat for the school. Until we can implement this,
we ask that parents who want their children to wear a hat

for protection, to please bring one from home.
