1922
In 1922 Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb.

Tutankhamun was one of the world's most known pharos.

This discovery sparked many public interest for ancient

Egypt.
1923
The Beer Hall Putsch is most know for Hitlers attempt

to take over southern Germany. It was this failed plan

and his trial that made him a national figure.

It was because of the putsch that send Hitler to prison.


1924
In this image it shows Adolf Hitler being released

after only serving nine months out of his 5

year sentence. Once out of prison he worked hard to

put together the Nazi Party and gain legal power.


1925
The Great Gatsby is published on April 10, 1925. This novel is made
by F.Scott Fitzgerald, it is considered one of the greatest novel of
the 20th century. Fitzgerald impacted people with this novel by
giving a description on what the 1920s was like.
1926

Logie Baird's (the man who
revolutionized modern electronics;
televisor), business partner. This was the
first display of a television image. It was
transmitted to the members of the Royal
Institution on January 26,1926.
1927
The Jazz Singer was the first film that was
talkie. It has a significant place in film
history. This film helped transform the
silent films to what we watch now.
1928
The birth of one of the most loved animated
mouses in the world is Mickey Mouse.
Hollywood first aired the cartoon in May 15,
1928 it wasnt a hit at first. But Walt Disney
continued to strive and succeed at last, and now
it has impacted many children around the globe.
1929
The Great Depression lasted from 1929 to 1939,
and was the worst economic downturn in the
history of the industrialized world. On October
1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped
out millions of investors. Over the next several
years, consumer spending and investment dropped,
causing steep declines in industrial output and
employment as failing companies laid off workers.
1930
The disaster of the stack crashing had
affected the years 1930-1939. In this image it
shows a food line for the unemployed.
Unemployment didnt decrease either it
stayed standing throughout the 1930s.
1931
This photo was one of the last taken before he died on
October 18,1931. Thomas Edison was one of the greatest
inventors. He was the one who created the light bulb, tesla,
and some fans.
1932
Los Angeles 1932 Olympic Games, athletic festival held
in Los Angeles that took place July 30Aug. 14, 1932.
The Los Angeles Games were the ninth occurrence of
the modern Olympic Games.Only about 1,300 athletes,
representing 37 countries, competed in the 1932
Games. The poor participation was the result of the
worldwide economic depression and the expense of
traveling to California.
