Ade RiantoEmbongbulan. Analysis of heavy metal ions Pb, Cd and Cu
in water, sediment, mangrove root, crab biota (scylla serrata) and blood clams (anadara granosa) found in mangrove coastal area of kariangau Balikpapan (Mentored by Prof. Dr. H. A. Ichrar Asbar, M.S, Alm and Dr. Eng. Idris Mandang, M.Si). Has done research the analysis of heavy metal ions of Pb, Cd and Cu on water, sediment, mangrove root, crab biota (scyllaserrata) and blood clams (anadaragranosa) in the coastal area Kariangau mangrove of Balikpapan. The aim of this research is to know the quality of water and the level of heavy metal ion content of Pb, Cd and Cu on water, sediment, mangrove root and crab biota (scylla serrata) and blood clams (anadara granosa) are feasible to be consumed based on standard heavy metal standard for food: SNI 7387: 2009. This research is conducted by means of quantitative descriptive that describes in general the results of research. The result of the research based on the laboratory test at each observation location 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 shows that the coastal area of Kariangau mangrove of Balikpapan as a whole in accordance with environmental quality standard based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment no. 51 of 2004 but there is one point of location whose pH value is below the predetermined quality standard at location 5. For analysis of heavy metal content in the waters of Kariangau at the location of observations ranging from 0.013-0.070 mg/L for heavy metals Pb, Cu metals from undetectable to 0.042 mg/L whereas Cd metal is undetectable at all locations of observations. The heavy metal content of the sediments in accordance with the location of observations ranged from 0.047-0.087 mg/L for heavy metals Pb, Cu metals from undetectable to 0.058 mg/L whereas Cd metal was undetectable at all locations of observations. Then the accumulation of heavy metal on crabs on heavy metals Pb 0.020 mg/L, Cu 0.016 mg/L and Cd was not found. The measured heavy metal content of the blood clams ranged from undetectable to 0.052 mg / kg for the metal Pb while the Cu metal ranges from undetectable to 0.031 mg/ kg. With the quality standard as determined by the Indonesian National Standard regarding the maximum limit of heavy metal contamination in food 7387: 2009 is well below the established threshold of <1.5 mg/Kg for bivalve shells. Similarly, which has been determined by SK Depkes RI. 0375 / B / SK / 1989 is well below the established threshold of <20 mg / kg for crabs. In Cd metal in all biota such as crabs and blood shells none were detected and safe from exposure to heavy metals Cd.
