En el 2008 se extrajeron de Vinchos y beneficiaron
en la planta San Expedito (Cerro de Pasco) mineral
que produjo 8,000 TMS de concentrado de plomo
con 1.6millones de onzas finas de plata.

In 2008 they extracted mineral from Vinchos and
processed it in the San Expedito plant (Cerro de
Pasco) produce 8,000 MT of lead concentrate with 1.6
million fine ounces of silver.

Durante el ao se continu con la profundizacin
de la mina en la zona nueva, que nos permite
preparar reservas debajo del nivel 005 para la
explotacin del cuerpo-veta Mara Ins Sur y
las vetas Ramal Mara Ins, Balarn II, Contacto y
cuerpo Ingrid. As mismo, se inici exploraciones
con labores mineras en la zona antigua, vetas
San Marcos, Sol de Oro, Candelaria y Haswuz, que
entrarn en produccin el 2009.
Se ejecutaron 29,931m de perforacin diamantina
que ha permitido reconocer el cuerpo Mara
Ins en profundidad en un rea mineralizada de
1,100 m2 con 12 m de ancho y ley de 8 a 12 oz.
Ag/t, la veta Haswuz debajo del nivel 105 con 4 m
de ancho y 8oz.Ag/t en promedio, la veta Mara
Teresa debajo del nivel 105 con 1.50 m de ancho
en promedio y 10 oz. Ag/t, la veta San Marcos
a partir del nivel 4,350 hacia profundidad con
ancho de hasta 8m, 70m de longitud y 8.5oz.Ag/t
en promedio, as como tambin la veta Candelaria
con 1.20 m de ancho y 9 oz. Ag/t. Todo esto nos ha
permitido incrementar los recursos de Vinchos en
ms de 800 mil TMS.
During the year, the deepening of the mine in the new
zone continued. This allowed us to prepare reserves
located below the level 005 in order to exploit the
cuerpo-vein Mara Ins South and the Ramal Mara
Ins, Balarn II, Contacto veins and the Ingrid cuerpo.
Likewise, exploration mining started in the old zone
with the San Marcos, Sol de Oro, Candelaria and
Haswuz veins, which will begin production in 2009.
29,931 m of diamond-drilling was carried out, which
allowed us to identify the cuerpo Maria Ins in depth
within a mineralized area of 1,100 m2 by 12 m. width
and a grade of 8 to 12 oz.Ag/MT, the Haswuz vein
below the level 105 with 4 m. width and 8 oz.Ag/
MT in average, the Mara Teresa vein below the level
105 with 1.50 m. wide on average and 10 oz.Ag/MT,
the San Marcos vein starting at the level 4,350 and
continuing in depth with a width of 8 m, 70 m. long
and carrying 8.5 oz.Ag/MT in average, as well as the
Candelaria vein with 1.20 m. width and 9 oz. Ag/MT.
All this helped us increase resources in Vinchos by
over 800 hundred thousand MT.

PARIAJIRCA (ORO) PARIAJIRCA (ORO)

Un hallazgo importante a fines del 2008, fue
la intercepcin desde superficie (al Este de las
operaciones) de la falla Pariajirca, con sondajes
diamantinos realizados en base a los estudios
geofsicos de magnetometra. LAS LEYES DE ORO
INTERCEPTADAS VARIAN DE 3.6 A 6.6 gr.Au/t en un
tramo de xidos reconocido en un sondaje, que
ser explorado a detalle con ms perforaciones el
ao 2009.
Las operaciones en Vinchos continuaron con el
traslado de mineral desde la mina hasta Cerro de
Pasco (70km) para ser tratados en San Expedito
que concluy su ampliacin a 650 tpd.
El siguiente cuadro es un resumen de las labores
subterrneas de avance.
An important discovery was made at the end of
2008 with the intersection from surface (East of the
operations) of the Pariajirca fault, with diamond-
drillholes carried out based on magnetic geophysical
studies. THE GRADES OF GOLD INTERSECTED VARY FROM
3.6 TO 6.6 gr.Au/t in a section of oxides recognized in
one drillhole, which will be explored in detail with
more drillholes in 2009
The Vinchos operations continue with the transfer of
mineral from the mine to Cerro de Pasco (70 Km.) to
be processed in San Expedito and where expansion
was completed to 650 tpd.
