It is Canada's only polytechnic university (hands on learn style)
3. What kind of programs are offered?
120+ programs, Academic & Career Advancement, Arts, Business, Wilson School Of
Design, Health, Science & Horticulture, Trades & Technology.

March 1st
5. How do I check my application status?
Online, at kpu.ca/oss
6. After I have been accepted, how do I register?
Go online to accept your admission and pay a conformation deposit fee.
7. How do I know what classes to register for?
You can contact the academic advisors to help you plan your courses based on your
planned profession.
8. What is the average class size?
Small, 35 people maximum
9. How do you provide academic advice to students?
You can drop in or book an appointment to visit academic advisors. They can help you
get along with professors, and offer support to students struggling with coursework.

10. Where are the best places to study on campus?


Library, group study rooms
11. Does the campus offer residence?
No but they have a high demand for it.
12. How can I get involved with athletics or clubs and societies?
You can join recreational teams, sign up for fitness or dance classes, join student run
clubs, or create your own club with friends.
13. How long was the tour?
1 hour
14. What surprised you about campus?
I was surprised about how many campus' there are(5). Also, how small the class sizes
are.
15. What did you like about the campus?
I like how the class sizes are small so you can interact with your professors. Also, I like
that it's all about gaining work experience to get a job.
16. What did you not like about the campus?
It seems confusing to find you classes with all the different buildings and the multiple
levels.

I would only apply if I have no other options

2. What is unique about this campus?
This campus is unique because it is basically its own city. They have restaurants,
accommodations, and things to do.
3. What kind of programs are offered?
18 faculties, 43 undergraduate degrees in 14 schools.
4. What is the application deadline?
January 15th
5. How do I check my application status?
Go online and log in to your student service centre.
6. After I have been accepted, how do I register?
Online, at your Student service centre account and pay there admission fee.
7. How do I know what classes to register for?
Visit the student service centre. Also, Connect with an academic advisor.
8. What is the average class size?
Average class sizes are 100-150 students.
9. How do you provide academic advice to students?
Most faculties have academic advisors who can assist and advise students on
academic matters. They can help you get along with professors, and offer support to
students struggling with coursework.
10. Where are the best places to study on campus?
Libraries, cafes, dorms, outdoors (on nice days), the dungeon (basement that has no
cell reception)

Yes, they guarantee residency for first year students and also have residency for other
students.

You can join recreational teams, sign up for fitness or dance classes, join student run

14. What surprised you about campus?
I was surprised on how many students attend ubc and how many different building or
parks they have. They have a so many different cultural buildings or parks for students
to use. Also, how big the campus is actually is, and how big the class sizes are.
15. What did you like about the campus?
I liked the different cultures that are all on the campus. I really like how many people
you can meet, different clubs you can join, and all the events ran by other students.
16. What did you not like about the campus?
I didn't like how busy the campus can get in between classes, and the commute I would
have to make from my house if I don't chose to live there.
17. Would you apply to this Campus?
UBC, is the top university in Canada that I would like to go to. Yes, 100%.
