General information for
University of Prishtina

The University of Prishtina was founded


by the Law on the Foundation of the
University of Prishtina, which was passed
by the Assembly of the Socialist Province
of Kosova on 18 November 1969.

On 15 February 1970 the Ceremonial


Meeting of the Assembly was held in
which the 15 February was proclaimed
The Day of the University of Prishtina.

UP has started in 2001 the reforming of


all academic levels in accordance with
the Bologna Declaration, aiming the
integration into the European Higher
Education System.

of Prishtina Summer University

editions of PISU.
