Monthly report for the period 8 August to 10 September 2017

Highlights

Short Shorts Film Awards, Kaipatiki Public Arts Trust, 20 August

Enabled by the Kaipatiki Public Arts Trust

(KPAT), this short film making contest
received 20 entries for local Kaipatiki
schools. The theme was Kaipatiki Bites.
Over 120 young people participated in
creating short films that build on the theme.
For me the pride in Kaipatiki was evident in
every short film. To view the short films, go to YouTube, by searching for KPAT Short Shorts 2017.
The winners included Willow Park Primary School, Northcote Intermediate and highly commended
to Wairau Special School. Support of this project was funded through the Kaipatiki Local Board.

Inspired to brighten up the local park, community Bayview Craft Mob leader, Ro Stott, lead a team of

several months of planning, and a huge amount of local
