It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Sofia Arriola, a former student of
mine from the Academy of Science and Engineering. I have known Sofia for a little over two years now,
having had the privilege of having her as a student for both 10th grade and 11th grade English.

Sofia is an extremely mature, level-headed, calm, and collected young lady. As a student, she was
consistently on task, ready to work, and to help others at any time. She always displayed a great deal of
courage, volunteering to participate and to help out her teacher or other students.

In addition to being an A student in my classes, Sofia was also part of Yearbook, where she was one of
the editors in charge of editing and completing the yearbook layout. Additionally, she contributed in
planning, organizing, and leading fundraisers for the yearbook club. Sofia was always willing and able to
bring resources for us to use, and to volunteer her time to keep the events running smoothly.

I believe Sofias positive attitude, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic will only allow her to achieve
great things in life.
