To simulate and synthesize a verilog code for the digital circuits like adder/shiter/multiplier/
finite state machine. Write a test bench. Discuss the area report.

SPICE tool.

Measurement and analysis of Signal strength to Identify WLAN dead zones in a
campus and optimize the WLAN infrastructure.
Measure the Wi-Fi signal strength at different buildings, different floors in each
building and different rooms/cabins in each floor. Map the signal strength using google
maps. Identify the dead zone and develop a plan for positioning of Wi-Fi access point
in the campus for complete coverage of the campus.

Implementation of Remote login:
Implement remote login protocol to access your files and data in the college computer
from your place across the globe.
Project 3 Project Area: LAN
Performance analysis of wireless LANs using simulation tools like ns-2.
Analyze the throughput, delay, jitter performances of wireless LANs for different node
deployment strategies. Find an optimum number of nodes and deployment for a given
location.
Project 4 Project Area: PAN
Create wireless personal networks using IEEE 802.15.1 compliant devices.
Create wireless pico nets using IEEE 802.15.1 devices and exchange the data between
the devices. Study the range, speed and the node number limitations of the pico nets.
Extend the pico nets to scatter nets.

Create wireless personal networks using IEEE 802.15.4 compliant devices.
Create a wireless network using IEEE 802.15.4 compliant devices, exchange data
among the devices. Measure the Packet delivery ratio, throughput performance of the

A signal (ECG/Speech) is contaminated with power line interference noise. Design a
Notch filter to remove 50Hz Notch frequency from noisy signal. Observe frequency
response of designed filter and analyze the filtered signal.
Project 2 Project Area: Multirate System
Design of Multirate system for the given sampling rate and specifications of filter
required for sound recording system to compose and mix high and low frequency signals
generated from different instruments in a Recording studio.
