Helping Deaf Mute children from

Badhir Vidhyalaya make and sell

Greeting Cards and envelopes
On the occasion of Childrens day
celebrations on14 th November 2016 at
Bhandari Childrens Hospital, Udaipur

My Grand Father and Father run a pediatric

Hospital in Udaipur. Every year on 14th November
,they used to celebrate Children Day by organizing
healthy baby competition .

This year as they were planning for the same . I

suggested an idea wherein we could organize an
event for Deaf Mute Kids of Badhir Vidhyalaya ,
an school for deaf and dumb kids situated in
Udaipur, Rajasthan. In this event we planned to
help them draw and paint greeting cards along
with teaching them how to make envelopes. We
would then display them on the notice board of
Hospital and sell them to various people who come
to hospital. The proceeds would go for their
welfare.

Invite was sent to the Principal of Badhir

Vidhyalaya ,who graciously accepted to be part of
celebrations.
Nearly 55 children came with the school

The whole atmosphere was filled with fun, eagerness to

learn, develop a sense of accomplishment for the kids.
We could sell these cards and collect Rs 3500/- for their
welfare.
Instead of the usual Healthy Baby competition , we were able
to reach out to these challenged kids.
