Since the original publication by Harrington, the Method of Moments (MoM) has
been a very popular technique in computational electromagnetics to deal in
particular with open radiation and scattering problems for bodies of arbitrary
shape based on the integral equation formulation of Maxwells equations. Surface
and volume integral equations formulations exist and are enhanced by special
Greens function techniques (e.g. for planar multilayer substrates). Higher order
schemes in connection with curvilinear meshes aim at improved solution accuracy,
while fast solvers or hybrid methods aim at reducing the memory and run-time
requirements.
The goal of this Special Issue is to bring the most recent results of scientific
research in applied electromagnetics to the Readers attention.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers that relate to the above-
