Valencia later 2. ‘The activity aims to: > discuss effective strategies on how to teach least learned competencies, develop appropriate assessment tools and art of questioning to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills; _» demonstrate pedagogical knowledge and skils to efficiently and effectively integrate constructivist strategies into the teaching-eaming process; > develop appropriate and engaging instructional tools and teaching-learning resources which develop creativity, critical thinking, communication skills, collaboration, and computer skills of the learners; and . 5 > share appreciation and positive insights.on the importance of developing. lessons addressing varied needs of leamers which facilitate mastery of least mastered ‘competencies in all subject areas. 3. Each cluster/distrit/school will follow a training procedure specific to a subject area. INSET topics and activities may cover any or most of the following at any given/avallable time on-the specified dates (See enclosed unified Topics Matrix): >” NAT Least Mastered Competencies ” > Att of Questioning > K to 12 Updates/Issuances/Pronouncements > _ Assessment > Teaching strategles/styles/techniques > Subject area concerns on teaching-leaming > 21 Century Skis > Differentiated Instruction > Localization/Contextuallzation 4. Participants to the INSET are all Division ‘of Iloilo City, public schoo! teachers, department heads, school heads/OICs and PSDSs. Pursuant to Item No. 4, Encl. 2 to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2015, midterm break is ‘not vacation or tour time, hence, all must attend the INSET. Teachers who will be absent during the semester's break must accomplish the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Form 6. Ifin any case a teacher decides to travel on official business outside of Iloilo City, authority to travel must be secured from the office of the Officer-In-Charge before the date of travel, ‘otherwise, the teacher will be marked absent and shall be made to explain In writing. 5. Participants are required to bring the following: ~ Teachers Guide = Laptop = Curriculum Guide : - Extension Cord - Module 6. Monitoring and Evaluation Team headed by Dr. Jerry M. Lego, Chief, SGOD, with members Coneillo T. Bonilla, EPS-Physical Facilities, Gilda C, Gulmatico, SEPS-HRTD, Marites M. Serra, Education Program Specialist II-HRTO, Frankile Esportuno, SEPS-M & and Erma 1. Gervero, SEPS-Planning & Research will visit and monitor the conduct of the INSET. Regional teams will also visit the Division and ‘Schools during the conduct of the INSET. : 7 Registration Fee is Free. Lunch for Monday and Tuesday only will be provided by SDO c/o Division INSET funds while snacks are on self-provision basis. Honorarla of speakers coming from other agencles, training materials and certificates are chargeable against Division INSET Funds, subject to the ‘usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 8. ‘All PSDSs, through the school principals, shall take charge of the attendance of teachers. ‘School Heads are advised to submit thelr Training Matrix for School Level INSET and names of PAX per subject area cluster to.
