Informational Tasks

1- Look more closely at the instructions that the teacher gives while introducing the
learning centers:
If possible, video/pictures or audio record the teacher while she gives
instructions.
Write the sentences of the instructions that the teacher gives.
Every day the teacher gives the students many instructions and because they are
in KG and the school life is new life for them the sentence that I heard my MST
say it for the children every day is here in the school we have rules and you
should listen to the teacher and follow the instructions.
Here are the sentences of the instructions that the teacher gives:
- Keep my hand to myself.
- Respect the others and be nice to everybody.
- We tidy up when we finish the activity.

Write your own instructions for one of your own lesson plans.
- Raise your hand before you speak during a classroom lesson.
- Follow directions.

2- Describe the purpose of diagnostic assessment.

A) Identify the diagnostic tests the teacher uses in your TP placement. These might be
check lists, written observations. Photograph blank diagnostics, scan, print and or
upload to your e-portfolio.
Here is the diagnostic test that my MST uses: (check list)
B) Look over the diagnostics again and identify which diagnostics are norm referenced,
criterion referenced, comparison of students ability, comparison of student progress.
The MST use numbers to represent the level of the students like: 4= Excellent
3=Good 2=Acceptable 1=Needs improvement also she highlight the names of students
who are slow.

3- Classroom Management

1. Describe two times when your classroom management was successful. Describe the
situation, learning objective and what the students were doing. Why was your
management successful?
The two times that my classroom management was successful when the students
understood the learning objectives and I had two learning objectives and when I finish the
lesson most of the students understand the lesson.

2. Describe something you would like to improve about your classroom management
(using routines, giving instructions, dealing with disruptive behavior, managing groups,)
Give suggestions (or talk to your MST or MCT) to improve your classroom management.

I would improve few points about my classroom management like dealing with disruptive
behavior by use a reward system or use the punishment chair the second classroom
management is clean up like put a basket for each group and use a good song for them.
