MP4 Files YouTube

Microsoft Stream PowerPoint

Please note that ANY multimedia presentations should have sources

cited for images, text and information, and music. Citations can be
listed at the end of the video, on the last slide, or even sent in Cosmos
as a document so that your teacher can click on your links.
MP4 Files

If you choose to record your video using your cellphone or computer,

you can attempt to upload your file directly to Cosmos. However,
many students have difficulty with this strategy because Cosmos
cannot support the size of their upload.

If your file is struggling to upload due to file size, you need to:

● Choose another strategy which will let you link your video for
your teacher. Include the link in the dropbox.
● Condense your file size.
● Make sure your video is not more than about 4 minutes long.

How to upload your video as an unlisted YouTube Video

An unlisted video means that the video is private and ONLY visible to
the people who have the video link (similar to the Google Docs we use
in our lectures). It will never appear in any public searches etc.
You can choose to make any of your uploads an unlisted video in your
YouTube Account settings. Here’s how:

1. Create or Sign into your YouTube Account.

2. Go to your My Videos page (on the left side of the page).

3. Upload the video which you’d like to make an unlisted video. It

will look like this. You can edit the title of the video on this page,
as well. Once the video is completely uploaded, you can click
“Next”.
4. You won’t need to edit anything on the “Video Elements” page,
but once you get to the last page, you will need to click
“Unlisted”.

Once the video is uploaded, you can just send your teacher the link!
Microsoft Stream

You already have a free Microsoft Streams account created for you
with your Colegia email address. Find Office 365 on Colegia.org under
your Apps and then select Stream. You will be able to securely upload
your MP4 file and send the link to your teacher. Or you could even
record directly from this application.
PowerPoint

1. Create a presentation with all your information and images.

Cite your sources on the last slide.
2. Record slide show from the beginning.

3. After clicking RECORD (you may have to allow access to your

microphone), you will see your project in presentation mode.
Click through the slides by pressing the right arrow. Remember,
to speak clearly and slowly. Do not rush!

4. When finished, click the arrow again.

5. On your final slide, allow recording to continue so that your

sources can be read. Then, click the arrow again to end the
slideshow and recording.

6. You can save this file as a PPT and upload for your teacher. Your
teacher will then watch your presentation and be able to
see/hear what you recorded. Or you can save as an MP4 file and
upload to YouTube or Microsoft Stream.
