This is really amazing, a couple days ago I was at the University of The
Western Cape wearing my Rondebosch rain jacket and a first year boy walked
passed me
and stopped for a second but then carried on walking. I thought nothing of it but
then he came back to me and in a bit of a stutter he asked me if he could ask me
a question.
I told him that he could and he proceeded to point to the Rondebosch badge on
my jacket and he asked me if I went to Rondebosch. I smiled and told him that I
did go there
and he asked me when I matriculated and I told him in 2015. He smiled and he
asked me if I knew Isolomzi and I told him that yes I did. I couldn't quite make
out the next part
of what he was saying because of his stutter but he said something along the
lines of him being one of the kids that was helped in the Isolomzi outreach
program and Rondebosch
helping him and getting him to where he is now at being able to study now at
the University of the Western Cape. I felt so much pride wearing my Bosch
badge on my chest at
school and just as much when I spoke to this first year guy now. Altius et Latius
