A Postcard From Natalie: The Tulip Touch by Anne Fine
A Postcard From Natalie: The Tulip Touch by Anne Fine
After her first day at school, Natalie writes a short postcard to an old school
friend. Use the space to make up what you think Natalie might write.
Remember to include:
Dear
I need your advice about my friend Tulip. We have been friends for
ages, but I really want to break up with her. The trouble is, Im
scared of what she will do. In some ways, its great having a friend
like Tulip shes exciting and different! But shes taking more
and more risks, and shes going to get into really serious trouble. I
try to protect her, but she can be really horrible to me, calling me
names and bullying me. I do feel sorry for her, because she gets
treated so badly at home, but I really think she is capable of doing
something really mad or bad. I cant talk to my parents, and I have
no other friends. Please tell me what I should do.
