Clear Space produces theatrical performances year round at our main stage located at 20 Baltimore Avenue as well as
featured presentations at the Freeman Stage in Selbyville as well as H.O. Brittingham Elementary School in Milton. It is
with your generous support that we are able to reach out to our community in a dramatic way.
Clear Space Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 cultural organization founded in 2004, is committed to teaching, producing and
presenting the performing arts. The term clear space refers to a focus on the process, knowledge, and humanity of
arts performance: the idea that we find ourselves in what appears on the stage. Our Vision is to be a leader in the
vibrant performing arts community of southern Delaware. Our Mission is to inspire audiences, artists, and students by
providing high quality performance and educational experiences.
The Three Facets of Clear Space are: The Acting Company (a professional acting company producing dozens of
performances each season); The Arts Institute (an educational program offering classes to more than 700 students of all
ages); and On Tour (community presentations throughout Delaware using professional actors and outstanding students,
offered in cooperation with local civic groups).
