It has been every little boy's dream to
wake up on Christmas morning to a
Christmas tree filled with presents
and love at the bottom of the tree. As
you wake up, the realization that the
date is December 25 electrifies your
legs as you begin to run towards the
tree. Running and running, you grab
the first present as if it was a brick
of gold. Then you rip and tear away at
the flesh of the present to unravel
the hidden treasure behind the green
wrapping paper. Once your eyes and
brain recognize that this is the
present you wanted the most, your Christmas
heart beings to fill with happiness-
known as the Christmas Spirit.

Possibly the greatest sport on this plant, football
lightens my Sunday mood like the sun lightens the
Earth's surface at the break of dawn. Watching
football, to me, is like a kid in a candy store. Ever
since I was able to understand the point system, I
have fallen in love with the sport and all it has
to offer.

Ever since I was able to understand the game of basketball, my favorite team has,
and always I'll be, the Knicks. Being a New Yorker, I have pride in being a
Knicks fan. My favorite Knicks game I went to was Keep be Bryant's last game
in Madison Square Garden. I remember it like it was yesterday, Kobe's stature
towering over his opponents. Kobe's body was glistening in the light mimicking
the second coming of Jesus Christ. Kobe's stare paralyzed my body as we locked
eye contact during the warm ups. I will never forget the moment me and Kobe
Bryant shared eye contact.

P When I was little, I would always crave
going to my grandma's house to have her
crispy, creamy, cooked pastitso. Walking
into her house was like walking into a
candy store as the fresh smell swam into
my nose. The first bite, glistening with fresh
pasta, would electrify my taste buds as I
enjoyed every bite.

What can I say about sleep? The real question is
what can't I say about sleep. You wake up wrapped
in covers like a chipotle burrito. You feel refreshed,
reborn and reassembled as lay on a bed of soft silk
contemplating the day ahead of you.

Nevertheless, waking up from

a glorious nap isn't the best
feeling. The best feeling is
going into bed after a long
stressful day. You lay as your
muscles rejuvenate the energy
lost during the day. You lay
calmly as you heart rate takes
a cool down lap from the stress
of the day.
