God loves you, created you and has a plan and saved.
saved. Acts 16:31 states that, “Believe on the
purpose for your life. Once you know the
Purpose of your life, you will be at rest (peace);
else you will remain confused, aimless and
restless, seeking the Meaning of your existence.
How would you know the Plan and Purpose of
God in your life if you are not in a relationship
with Him? People have mistakenly perceived
God to be a power, i.e. unapproachable and
aloof. This is a highly fallacious statement as
God has created us in His image and likeness.
The Bible says in Gen.1:26 Then God said,” Let
Us make man in Our image, according to Our
likeness...” Since the Creator is a person, He has
created us as persons with unique personalities.
He is not a Power but He can be defined as a
Person with Power. John.4:24 says,” God is
Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship
in spirit and truth”. Therefore we can relate to
him like we do with other human beings
around us. You cannot just communicate to
Him but communicate and converse with Him
through prayer, as He talks and listens to you
God made this possible for all mankind, when
He manifested all His fullness in Christ Jesus,
His Son, as was prophesied during the preceding
ages, through many prophets across
time.Col.1:19 says” For it pleased the Father
that in Him all the fullness should dwell”. Jesus
has made it possible for me to know God and
experience Him, and I endeavor to help you also
to have and experience the same love and
knowledge of God.
Believing in Christ Jesus is not a matter of
conversion but of Salvation. Conversion is a
fairly easy matter, since one can be converted by
simply observing the rites and rituals of the
religion one wants to be converted to. Country
like India has got a rich heritage of respecting all
religion. Being religious or being a member in a
particular religion Christian, Muslim, Hindu…
won’t save us But salvation is a different matter
altogether. The word ‘Salvation’ means to be
rescued, saved, or delivered from some person
(Satan) place(Hell) or condition(Sinful). But to
be saved or rescued one needs to have a
‘Saviour’ who can be trusted to save you, and
ensure you that you are safe and have been
Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you
and your household”
Romans.3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God”. In the world we
inhabit sin is ever-present and its outcomes are
our Realities of life e.g. Sorrows, curses,
sickness, rejection, humiliation, nakedness, death
etc. Let’s examine the reality of death a little
closely. Death is not a religious matter, but a
universal condition that befalls all mankind.
Yet the big question persists: what happens to us
after we die? As God is our Creator and
Sustainer, the Owner of this Universe, each of us
has to present ourselves before Him to give an
account of our earthly deeds. The Bible says in
Heb.9:27 states that “And as it is appointed for
men to die once, but after this judgement”. We
will have to give an account of our use or abuse
of His resources. So what are the resources that
He has supplied us with? The air, water, shelter,
time, strength, abilities, talents, families, jobs,
finance etc. are all His resources.
Just as a chartered accountant aids us in filing
our taxes or an advocate prepares us to plead our
case before the Court, in the same way, we need
someone who will plead our case before our
Creator – The Holy God. Our Advocate is
Jesus Christ because He is the only One who
has promised to present you and me before the
Creator as pure, blameless and holy. Eph.1:4
says that “He chose us in Him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy
& without blame before him in love”. So why is
Jesus our Only Advocate? Because through His
death, He paid the penalties of every sin, ever
committed by any and every human being. Many
teachers, gurus and prophets have been born,
lived and then died. But only Jesus Christ, who
died for our sins, rose again from the dead and
lives eternally, advocating your cause before the
Holy God. 1Cor.15:3-4 says that “…that Christ
died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and
that He was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the Scriptures, and that He
was seen by Peter, then by the twelve”.
If this sheds light over matters that you have
often thought and pondered upon but never
found a satisfying solution or answer to, respond
to God now. He is not and cannot be owned by
a religion or a few individuals but His invitation
extends to people of all race, class, caste and
creed. Christ Jesus did not only come for the
Jews but for all human beings. Your problems
whatever they be, of discord, frustration,
loneliness, sickness, challenges
hopelessness…..they all point to the one
reality– that you need to get right with your
Creator. The Creator prepared the way for you
in Christ Jesus, who gave His life for us, as is
stated in John.14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the
way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me”. Ask Jesus to come
into your life and surrender your all to Him.
Once you receive Jesus in your life, you will
surely obtain the above mentioned salvation,
and experience the joy of being forgiven, and
being at peace with God, being loved and in
love with God, and hoping for a brighter and
better tomorrow, with contentment and
security.

As mentioned in the above paragraph, prayer is

the mode of communication between the Holy
God and the mortal man. You may be a little
perplexed on how to approach that God in
prayer. You can pray and receive Jesus Christ in
the following manner.

Lord Jesus Christ, I acknowledge now that You

are able & willing to save me. I acknowledge my
sin and the upcoming judgement on me. But
thank you for Your death on the cross, for my
sins & resurrection for my life. Come into my
life now, change me from within the way You
desire. Amen.
