Module 9
The material of module 9 is promoting
hygiene 1 its all about complete bathing.
Once we have completed this module, we
will be able to explain the procedures of
bathing and give instuctions
assisting of bathing
Example :
1. Do you have skin allergic reaction
to cosmetic products ?
2. Do you have skin rashes ?
3. Excuse me, Im going to wash your
body !
4. Let me help you to take off yor
gown !
Module 10
The material of module 10 is promoting
hygiene 2 its all about oral hygiene and
denture care. Once we have completed this
module, we will be able to perform
communication and give instructions when
assisting oral hygiene and denture care.
Example :
1. Do you need my assistance for
tooth brushing ?
2. Do you have problem with your
tooth or gum ?
3. Let me check your mouth !
4. Spit your mouth rinse in this basin,
please !
Module 11
The material of module 11 is promoting
hygiene 3 its all about assisting with
elimination. Once we have completed this
module, we will be able to perform
communication when assisting a patient
when with elimination.
Example :
1. Do you need my assistance for
your bowel movement ?
2. Are you fit enough to go to toilet ?
3. Excuse me, Im going to take this
bedpan !
4. Please, lift up yout buttock !
Module 12
The material of module 12 is giving
injection. Once we have completed this
module, we will be able to explain the
procedures in giving injection and give
instruction when giving injection.
Example :
1. Its time for me to give an injection
2. I just want to give an injection into
your upper arm !
3. Please, lie on your tummy !
4. You may feel a bit uncomfortable !
Module 13
The material of module 13 is applying an
infusion. Once we have completed this
module, we will be able to explain the
procedure of applying an infusion an give
instructions when applying infusion.
Example :
 1. Excuse me, its time for me to
apply this infusion !
2. Please, give me your right hand !
3. Dont worry, its okay, Ill do this
as quickly as I can !
Module 14
The material of module 14 is taking the lab
sample 1. Its all about taking blood
sample. Once we have completed this
module, we will be able to explain the
procedures of taking a blood sample and
give instrusction when taking a blood
sample.
Example :
1. Excuse me, Im going to take your
blood sample !
2. I just want apply this tourniquet
round your uuper arm !
3. Please, clench your fist !
4. Can I have your right hand,
please?
Module 15
The material of module 15 is taking the lab
sample 2. Its all about taking feces, urine,
sputum, phlegm-sample. Once we have
completed this module, we will be able to
explain the procedures of taking a certain
lab sample and give instructions in taking
a certain lab sample.
Example :
1. We need some test of your
feces/urine/sputum/phlegm
2. Would you put your sputum into
this container ?
3. You had better send a sample of
new feces, at least a hour after
bowel motion.
4. Please, dont take anything to eat at
least 5 hours.
Module 16
The material of module 16 is discharge
instrusctions. Once we have completed
this module, we will be able to give
instructions and suggestions according to
the patients health problem.
Example :
1. You should take allergic test before
using this antibiotic.
2. I suggest you drink a lot of water.
3. You should not take this medicine
with coffee
4. You should avoid eating fatty food.
