“An Entertaining and Thought-Provoking
Theatrical Experience”
- The Home News Tribune

Welcome to the new season and our newly-designed stage and seating configuration!
As an artist, this gives you an impression of the theatre space I’ve always wanted for George Street Playhouse:
a raised stage that is embraced by the audience, offering the ultimate in flexibility for scenic design and
theatrical effects — while maintaining the intimate relationship between actors and playgoers that has
always made George Street Playhouse special.

As a member of the audience, our new

configuration also offers a first-class theatre-
going experience with more aisle seating
and three new rows of seats without stairs
to climb.

On the following pages, you’ll see that we

have a thrilling season ahead of us — filled
with laughter, music and award-winning plays.
I look forward to seeing you at the theatre
for the inaugural season on our newly-
designed stage!

Sincerely,

David Saint
