HALAL KIT DETECTOR

ABSTRACT

Nowadays there are many issues related to Halal all around the world and also in our
country which is Malaysia. This issue is really important and need to be taken as serious matter
as majority of the peoples in Malaysia are Muslims. This issue needs a solution as Muslims
really concerned in this matter as consuming Halal is an order of Allah and an essential part of
the Islamic faith. The importance of Halal is been proven in the Quran in many verses such as
O Messengers, eat from the pure foods a work righteousness (Holy Quran 23:15) and O
mankind, eat from whatever is on earth (that is) lawful a pure (Holy Quran 2:168)1. So by those
examples of verses in Holy Quran its proven that Halal in essential for Muslims and a Muslims
needs to be careful on what they eats and drinks. So in order to solve the Halal issues in
Malaysia there is solution of it which is by using Halal Apps.

INTRODUCTION

As introduction, there are many Halal and non-halal foods and drinks outside there.
Muslims sometimes do not realize if the foods or drinks are Halal or not. As example there are
issues that the restaurants in Malaysia serve non-halal foods and drinks but there are Halal
certificate in their restaurants. This thing makes the Muslims customer become confused of the
Halal state of the restaurant. So in order to solve the Halal problems, there many Halal apps
being developed in order to help Muslims to know well about Halal status of the restaurants or
the foods or drinks itself. In Malaysia there is an app which is known as Halal Apps that was
developed by Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC).
