THE FIVE SENSES

We have five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.

The organ of sight is the eyes, with these we see what surrounds us and we
distinguish the shapes, colors, sizes, if they are far or near...

Through the ear we get the sounds, for instance the music, the noise of the
cars or the song of the birds.

Smell is in our nose; with it we smell, sometimes pleasant smells such as a

freshly made sponge cake, and other unpleasant odors.

In our mouth is the sense of taste, which allows us to distinguish different

flavors: sweet, sour, bitter, spicy....

Finally, the sense of touch serves to know how are the objects we touch
and what are their qualities, whether they are soft, rough, hard or soft.
