Opening:

I will put a big clock on the board with small and big hands.
I will give the students a certain time to apply it on the clock to know if they recognize the
different between the small hand for minutes and the big hand for hour.

Independent Experience activity 1:


Time: 20 min
Small

I will give the students an instruction which is they should be sharing the playdough to do the
time on the clock.
The students will have a flashcard of the clock and a time under the clock.
Then the students will make the small hand for the hour and the big hand for the minutes to
apply it with playdough.
In the end of the activity the students should return the playdough and the flashcard in the
medial of the table to be ready for next group.
Independent Experience activity 2:

The students will follow my instruction which is sharing the eggs to make the time.
The students will have the eggs in the basket separately.
I draw a clock with a time of the part of the egg and the second part of the egg I write the time.
Then the student will read the time to make a matching of the clock with a right time.
In the end of the activity the students will return everything back for next group.

Independent Experience activity 3:

The students will follow my instruction which is sharing the flashcard of the blocks shape to
make match the time with the clock and no fight.
The students will have flashcard of the blocks shape, and part of the flashcard is a clock with a
time, and the second part of the flashcard I write the time with a number.
Then the students will make a match the time of what they see on the clock.
In the end of the activity the students will return the flashcard in the basket for next group.

Closing:

I will put the clock in the board and I will give the hand of the clock to ask them about the hour

Assessment:

To make sure that the students understand the lesson by two main activities, which is the eggs activity
when they read the time from the clock to make a matching with a number of the hour and the minutes.
The second activity is when the students see the time to apply it on the clock with playdough, that shows if
the students can read the time and the different between the small and big hands of the clock.
Reflection

On the second week of the practicum, I teach the student's math lesson which is about the time. I
reach my aims to let the students understand the concept of the lesson which is known the
difference between the small hand is for hours and the big hand is for minutes and how to read
the time for the clock, and the lesson was so successful and the students understand the lesson.
On the other hand, the part the I improve it is I manage my time to finish the lesson on time and I
manage to control of the students which that help me to do all of what I plan for the lesson. Also,
the students follow my instruction when they do the activities and I was trying to make activities
that attract the students to enjoy while they learn and understand the lesson because it's not easy
for the KG students to teach them about time and how to read from the clock. Moreover, because
of that I used the playdough to do the small and big hand on the clock and I give them a time to
apply it, and that help the students a lot to understand the lesson faster. Also, I used the marker to
see the clock to write the time, and I used I eggs the students should matching the time with the
clock. These activities helped the students and me to let them understand the lesson faster and I
was surprised that the students understand the lesson because of it not easy to teach kids the time
and its my first time to teach the students about the hours and how to read and write it.
