The Volunteers Pledge

I, __________ of _________________, a Volunteer for the Community-

based Rehabilitation Program initiated by the local government of
Daanbantayan, Cebu, do hereby solemnly swear, that I will be true and
faithful to the ideals of the program and that I will faithfully and truly
execute and discharge the trust reposed in me, to the best of my abilities.
Furthermore, I pledge to:

Uphold the Community-based Rehabilitation Programs mission, values

and objectives;

Observe the Community-based Rehabilitation Programs policies and

procedures to help it achieve its mission;
Keep up-to-date on the services offered by the Community-based
Rehabilitation Program;
Accept and assume the responsibilities that go along with volunteer work;
Maintain good relationships with other volunteers and Community-based
Rehabilitation Program personnel;
Comply with confidentiality policies established;
Be available, within a reasonable time frame, for eventual assignments, and
show up on time and at the
agreed upon place;
Be flexible and adapt to various needs and situations;
Make constructive suggestions or comments that are likely to improve the
Community-based Rehabilitation Programs volunteer efforts;
Attend meetings that regard him/her;
Understand the scope and limits of his/her role and those of the personnel;
Behave with dignity, courtesy and consideration;
Show a sense of responsibility and integrity;
Derive no advantage from his/her volunteer work (no conflict of interest);
Provide updated contact information so as to enable the Community-based
Rehabilitation Program to get in touch with the volunteer and to keep its
volunteer database up-to-date.
