Toy Cathedral, MDF,2013
The objective for the project was to analyze the toy in terms of its program, and then applied at adults. The
Toy Cathedral progresses from the simple building block into a complex puzzle of intersecting. Designed to be
used without directions, the project allows the user to creatively attach and intersect pieces until they acheive
the final result. Project from Art 272 Materials in Real Space.

levels. In the lake, water currents from Lake Washington push contaminated sediment both eroded from
the site and embedded underwater further through the waterway and towards Pudget Sound.
Meeting and Lounge
The glass-walled overpass to the
upper garden area allows for 360
views while studying, meeting, or
enjoying the sun.
Outdoor Garden
The upper balcony functions as a garden
with communal plots for Wallingford
residents. The indoor area allows for
atural light for temperate plants.

scheme because of my recommendation for an upbeat, energetic theme to reflect the nature of its users.
Other contributions include the tech center wall material, stage floor concrete treatment, and stage wall
paint treatment. The renovation process media I produced is on display at the Teen Center.
