In a short-term, BlackBerry hopes that their businesses able to confidentially and
reliably transmit sensitive data between endpoints to keep people,
information, and goods safe.
c. THE GOALS
- To maintain its market leadership in the enterprise mobility segment by
continuing to extend the functionality of the BlackBerry Secure platform and,
on top of this extensive foundation, deliver UEM (Unified Endpoint
Management) solutions focused on strategic industry verticals.
- BlackBerry Secure as the most secure and comprehensive way to connect
people, devices, processes and systems for the enterprise of things.

- BlackBerry products and services are known for productivity and security, and
the company were delivers the most secure end-to-end mobile enterprise
solutions in the market.

- With these core strengths, the companys broad portfolio of products and
services is focused on serving enterprise customers, particularly in regulated
industries, which can be found in BlackBerrys mission and goals.

- Via BlackBerry Secure, the company secure, manage, and connect the
Enterprise of Things. From what we found is the companys has been
executing a strategy to leverage its strengths in mobility management and
security in order to focus its business on software and services that secure,
manage and connect the Enterprise of Things as well as reaching their vision.

- Therefore, the company intends to continue to increase and enhance its


product and service offerings through strategic acquisitions and targeted
growth in internal investments.

3. Pick any product that you know, map the product in S curve, emerging,
growth, mature and decline.

Emerging Phase
This phase of the cycle could be the more expensive for BlackBerry companys to launch a new
product. The size of the market of product is small, which means BlackBerry has a low sale. On
the other hand, the cost of things like research & development, consumer testing, and the marketing
needed to launch their product can be very high. This is because of competitor.

Growth Phase
At this phase, BlackBerry companys have a strong sales and profits. And because of that,
BlackBerry start to benefit from economies of scale in production, the profit margins, as well as
the overall amount of profit will increase. This makes BlackBerry company possible to invest more
money in the promotional activity to maximize the potential of this growth phase.

Mature Phase
During this stage, the BlackBerry company product is establish and the aim for the manufacturer
is now to maintain the market share that the company has built up. This is the most competitive
time for their product and businesses because they need to invest wisely in any marketing day
undertake. BlackBerry companys also need to consider any product modification or improvement
to the production process in order to give them a competitive advantage.

Decline Phase
New market for BlackBerry company product start to shrink and this is whats known as the decline
phase. This shrinkage due to the market becoming saturated. For example all the customers who
will buy their product has already purchased it. Furthermore, this is because the consumer are
switching to different type of brand such as Apple and Samsung.
