PROBLEM

This research was specifically designed for introducing the far-fetched business in our
country for technological enhancement.
 Our aim is to become the only smart home solutions destination and our mission is to
provide our customer with the freedom of choices in automation that is compatible with
their feasibility and infrastructure so that they can enjoy convenience, comfort &
luxury.
 Conventional wall switches are located in different parts of a house and thus
necessitates manual operations like to switch on or off these switches to control various
appliances. Additionally, it gets virtually impossible to keep track of appliances that are
running, left switched on, & also to monitor their performances. Hence, it provide
inconvenience to users, therefore the suggested automated system will be a cure to the
problem and provide convenience, comfort, luxury and saves big time.
BACK GROUND

As the world is becoming fast paced there are loads of benefits to an online life, where by
being connected to your computer enables you to be aware of what is happening in every part
of the world in real time. The concept of House automation or any aspect that might
encompass this term can be applied in many areas, such as the following ones: Commercial,
Educational, Government, Industrial, Institutional, Municipal Government and Residential.
However the idea is to increase the use and consumption of technological devices and
apparatus among the households. In order to provide not just security as mentioned before but
comfort, energy efficiency or simply convenience. It will be a matter of touch.
Home automation products and services have struggled to gain acceptance and they
are actually in the introductory stage in Pakistan because peoples in Pakistan are not aware of
the benefits they will get transforming their homes into smart home. Moreover, currently the
electronic appliances are not configured to support the home automation concept and thereby
at the very basic level with help of smart switch boards for the purpose on/off of appliances.
the reason behind to come up with this idea is that to provide the easy access to the control of
room appliances (light, fan, on/off of TV, AC and sockets) to the different person who cannot
move or walk so that they get the liberty to control these devices on their own by using their
smart phones or remote device. It is also for the segment that knows about the technology and
has the willingness to update themselves with latest technological trends.

Transparency Market research forecasts that the Global Home Automation market
will reach 16.4 billion by 2019. Current home automation gadgets promise to give users the
ability to monitor their homes or turn off appliances for example, from the convenience of
their smart phone. As this is still in the introductory phase and needs a lot work is to be done
to provide the people with the complete home automation solution. Since, there is barely a
new connected device introduced that is not equipped with a Web browser or provides access
to Web based offerings. Paired with platform heterogeneity and utilization of advanced

smart home products can help with issues energy, security and eco-friendly.

Affluent Nesters are a high-priority segment as they are prone towards technology and adopt

Conclusion and Recommendations:

On the basis of analysis of benefits, profit and loss, demographic technology requirement,
Profitability index and opportunities, the following conclusions and recommendations are
given below:

1. We want to give society a home automation system with no alteration in electrical


conduit, Can be operated offline, Centralized control & monitoring of Home, Multiple
interfaces of operating, Leave home carefree, Luxurious life style, Home at your
fingertips, Reduce power consumption bills, Set schedule of devices.

2. As for the Alliances part we have partnered with Production Alliance, E-Commerce
Alliance and technical Alliance. Moreover, Human resources include Surveyor,
Installer, Assistant and Office helper.

3. Existing competitors, Global players, Load shedding, Economy, Lack of trust in home
automation (security and privacy issues), Limited start-up resources, Dependence of
