Title of lesson: Math (ordering)

Time: 9:15 to 9:30 Location: Sharjah English school (F20)

STUDENTS

19 KG students who aged 5 to 6, year 2

8 are male others are female.

The native language is English.

Learners have different learning style, visual, auditory and kinesthetic but
the lesson will focus on kinesthetic and visual styles .

Different shapes of personality, they divided in 3 types depends on my

inactive in the class

The student already now counting 1 to 25 and the order of the days

The lesson will include counting numbers then teaching ordering.

GOAL/OBJECTIVE

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

Recognize the order number of persons from the tall aspect.

To use the concepts first until 5th in the real life.

To order the objects that given to them.


MATERIALS/RESOURCES/STRATEGIES

Materials & resources:

Activity number 1: Ship Story


Activity number 2: Ordering Body Parts
Activity number 3: Flash cards

The Ship story will depend on PowerPoint and the ordering body
parts will be reliable and both of them have a full safety on the
children.

Technology integration:
Use the computer to show the story slide show.

Strategies:

Plan A: Using the slides to explain the story on the computer.


Plan B: if the computer did not work I will use pictures to make the
activity.

Start with counting slowly from 25 to 1 or ask students to put them
hands up and down and so on, to get them attention and engage
them to the lesson.

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS

The children might be uncontrolled, so I will change that last


activity, that they have to do it independently, to a whole class
activity and with me to make it more controlled.

I might be nervous because of the teacher observing, but I will try


my best to forget his presence.

Children may do not understand the instructions, I will try to


simplify them more.

ASSESSMENT

Asking so questions about the lesson if it easy or not.

Observing the children active so I know from the level of active if they are
awareness with lesson or not.

I will ask them to tell me the concepts from first to 5th .
