1. STAIR. A two-storey residential building has a floor to floor distance of 3.20m.

Draw the stair details supplying all


the necessary rebars, labels and dimensions. Refer to the drawings on the following page.
2. COLUMN. A column detail is shown below. Tell whether the drawing is correct or not. If it is incorrect, draw the
correct detail then explain.

3. BEAM. A two span reinforced concrete beam on a second floor of a residential building runs over three concrete
columns. The columns are 350mm x 350mm. The beam has a uniform cross section of 250mm x 400mm. The
distance between the centers of columns on the first span is 4m and 6m on the second span. The beam is
reinforced with 2-20 mm continuous bars at top and bottom. An additional of 1-20 mm top bar at the
supports and 1-20 mm bottom bar at midspans. Stirrups of 10 mm are spaced 1@50, 6@100, rest @200.
Draw the detail of the beam (beam elevation showing the layout of rebar, sections at supports and midspans).

4. SLABS. A schedule of slab is given below. Draw the detail of S-1 if it is 3.5m x 4.5m x 100mm thick.
